Franklin Pacific was a subcontractor in spring of 2008 for the construction of a concrete utility vault for this multi-million dollar project for the City of Portland. Our scope consisted of constructing a 26’ wide by 37’ long by 37’ deep subterranean concrete structure to connect several 84” diameter RCP elements of the project. The concrete structure required extreme accuracy of forming and close monitoring of concrete pouring operations to assure a high quality end product. At the culmination of this project Franklin Pacific was awarded with the Quality Crew Award from the prime contractor for zero accidents, quality workmanship, outperformance of schedule, and ownership complementation.
