Franklin Pacific was a subcontractor in summer of 2009 to Landis and Landis Construction for the construction of bridge in Clatsop, OR for the Oregon DOT. Prior to removing the existing bridge Franklin Pacific designed and installed a 30 foot x 90 foot detour bridge. Once the existing bridge was removed Franklin Pacific constructed a new 37 foot by 86 foot bridge founded on H-pile set in prebored holes. A pile cap and abutment wall was constructed over the pile. The superstructure consists of (9)-39 inch precast box girders with cast in place bridge rails and an asphalt wearing surface. The value of the bridge work was approximately $350,000.00.
