Franklin Pacific engineered and constructed this 1.2 million gallon subterranean storm water detention vault for the Paine Field Passenger Terminal Design-Build project in 2017. The vault is 134 feet x 129 feet and 10.5 feet deep. The vault was designed to support commercial airplane and fire truck loading. In effort to accelerate the construction Franklin Pacific employed shotcrete construction techniques for all of the vault walls and hollow precast concrete planks for the vault lid.
