Franklin Pacific constructed the pile supported grade beam and slab on grade foundation for the new Vietnamese Martyrs Parish in Tukwila Washington. The SOG / grade beam foundation system is approximately 20,000 square foot and was placed in 1 pour. Structural steel framing with slab on metal deck floors plates were then constructed. The foundation system supports approximately 100 steel columns all of which required precise location of the anchor bolts to assure fit up. Franklin Pacific developed a BIM model and used a Total Station for all layout to assure the concrete dimensions and anchor bolt locations were built correctly. By employing these quality control measures not a single steel column required repair or retrofit in order to fit up to the cast in anchor bolts.
