Approximately 3000 lineal feet and 39,000 square feet of precast concrete noise wall was constructed along SR9 in Lake Stevens Washington. 260 each 30 inch diameter drilled shaft foundations ranging in depth from 10 feet to 20 feet were constructed to support the precast noise panels. The wall were constructed along the right of way of SR 9 and adjacent to residential properties. As SR 9 is a main arterial for the Lake Stevens area much of the work took place during night shifts so as to limit disruptions to traffic. All of the anchor bolt clusters that support the precast panels which were cast into the drilled shaft foundations and were located using a Total Station so as to assure the accuracy of the fit up of the precast panels.
