Franklin Pacific Construction was a subcontractor to US Builders Group Inc. in 2012 for the expansion of the Tahoma National Cemetery in Tahoma Washington. The expansion of this Veterans Administration owned facility included 2 new bridges, three columbarium’s, and many site retaining walls. FPC’s scope included over 3000 cubic yards of structural concrete work for this project. Much of the work required exacting precision in order to facilitate fit up with the precast concrete columbarium niches. Many of the various worksites throughout the cemetery were in close proximity to active burial services, gravesite visitations, and the ongoing activities of the cemetery and required great sensitivity to our surrounding environment throughout the course of the workday.
